DaveThe son of creative parents who ultimately embarked on productive but uncreative careers, David was encouraged to develop his interest in art from an early age. Finding inspiration in all of his favorite toys, cartoons, movies and super heroes he planned to one day become a comic artist.

Never losing focus, David honed his skills over the years and moved on to study sequential art at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. After graduation, David and his new bride, April returned to North Carolina to begin the next stage of their lives together.

David's professional career started at Carson-Dellosa Publishing where he created art for educational activity books and decorative classroom displays. From there, he transitioned to the field of branded apparel, working for VF Playwear and Lollytogs designing graphics for screenprint, embroidery and woven label attributions for Nike and adidas kids respectively. Joining Hanesbrands Inc, David became the artist for Champion Athleticwear where he built upon his experience creating original artwork and developing brand integrity for yet another well respected company.

Currently, David is operating as a freelance graphic artist where he is able to utilize the full range of his design experience working in a variety of industries.

Aside from work, David enjoys spending time with April and their three children Cailsen, Joda and Byan. He still seizes every opportunity to draw superheroes, usually at the frequent request of his kids.
